Tenant zone : Anti-social behaviour
Cosmopolitan is committed to helping residents tackle anti-social behaviour and neighbourhood nuisance through the implementation of policies and procedures
aimed at maintaining everybody's right to enjoy their home and environment, safely and peacefully.Any complaint received by the Association relating to neighbour disputes or anti-social behaviour will be taken seriously and acted upon. Where neighbour disputes do arise, it is recognised that conciliation is the best solution and residents are encouraged to resolve problems themselves or with the help of a recognised mediation service, Cosmopolitan is committed to developing and / or participating in such mediation services and working with other statutory and voluntary agencies and authorities to find an amicable solution. If a dispute cannot be resolved in this way, Cosmopolitan has developed clear guidelines and will follow these to resolve the dispute. Where necessary this will involve the full use of legal sanctions up to and including the eviction of anti-social behaviour tenants. Our Guide to dealing with anti-social behaviour summarises Cosmopolitan's policy and procedures and if you require further information or assistance contact the Tenancy Management Team on 0151 224 0203 Cosmopolitan also produces two newsletters per year to keep residents informed on how the Association is working to combat Anti Social Behaviour.
