DO YOU WANT TO MAKE A BEE-LINE TO THE BOARD?
 
Are you a tenant of Cosmopolitan Housing Association?
Would you like to have a say in the way your landlord makes a decision?
Are you able to work as part of a team?
Do you feel confident in challenging and holding senior managers to account?
 
If "yes" then you might be interested in becoming a Tenant Board Member of Cosmopolitan Housing Association.
 
This is a voluntary position that requires a long term commitment.  In return, we will provide training and development opportunities so that you can meet the requirements of this important position, as well as paying reasonable expenses.

WHY NOT GET INVOLVED?

Would you like to shape and influence the services we deliver to you? Resident Involvement is a vital element, which enables us to provide services that are both wanted by you and cost effective.

The Association's 'Shaping the future together' brochure provides information about how you can give us your views on the services we provide and the options for involvement for you. Please note that we use the term 'residents' to include all the people who live in our homes. Cosmopolitan Housing Association believes that involving residents in our decision making and acting upon your influence and advice helps us to:

  • Improve services to residents
  • Ensure services reflect residents' needs
  • Achieve higher satisfaction levels
  • Increase accountability to residents
  • Enable and encourage residents to participate in ways that are suitable for all

In this brochure we have provided a wide range of opportunities for residents and leaseholders to get involved. There are many ways you can become involved, which do not necessarily mean having to attend meetings. You can make sure your voice is heard and give your views in a way that suits you.
