Get involved : Review teams
If you can attend meetings, or spare some time on a regular basis you can join one of Cosmopolitan's service review teams. These are tenant consultation bodies with whom officers of Cosmopolitan engage with to obtain views, comments and feedback. No experience is required just a genuine desire to make sure the services we deliver are the best we can give!
Service Review Teams
The following review teams look at the services delivered within a specific area. All teams review policies and procedures, monitor and set targets for service standards, performance indicators and satisfaction. The service review teams also contribute to giving and receiving feedback to residents via newsletters, website, resident groups and complaints. These teams will also be responsible for advising Cosmopolitan Scrutiny Panel when performace falls below expected standards and carry out performance reviews as requested by them. Residents can get involved in any of the following teams:
Tenancy Manangement Review Team
This team looks at tenancy management issues such as anti social behaviour, successions, joint tenancies and estate issues.
Resident Involvement Review Team
This team is instrumental in ensuring that residents have been consulted about any changes, improvement, or new initiatives within the organisation. Communication is key to this team and they will also ensure that residents receive feedback on any suggestions or changes made to our services.
Repairs Review Team
This team work in partnership with the Associations Asset Management department, ensuring the delivery of a quality repair service and planned maintenance programme, meeting the Decent Home Standard, improving value for money and exploring new initiatives.
Development and Regeneration Review Team
This team look to consult and engage with stakeholders on the Association's strategy to deliver good quality homes, to ensure value for money and explore new initiatives. Members gain understanding of the development process and knowledge of the regeneration agenda both locally and nationally. There is also the opportunity to visit various new building schemes that are being developed.
Complaints Review Team
This panel of recent complainants and interested residents will help the Association to improve its complaints handling procedure and also identify opportunities to learn from complaints and improve our services.
Income Management Review Team
This team are involved in the service areas dealing with our allocation of properties, financial inclusion and exclusion, rent collection and arrears.
Supported and Sheltered Living Review Team
This review team will look at service provided by the Supported Living team such as adaptations, support for vulnerable residents and floating support.
You can make a difference by making your voice heard and giving your views in a way that suits you, whether it be by attending meetings or from the comfort of your own home. We welcome all feedback whether it is positive or negative so that we can ensure our services meet your needs. The Association will offer all the support and information you need. Expenses will be paid to cover the cost of transport, child-minding, interpretation and carer costs.
