A new development of much needed family homes for rent has welcomed its first residents in Warrington.  The Fuller family and their neighbours all picked up the keys to their new homes on the same date and have now all moved into the properties on Houghton Street.  The homes will be managed by Cosmopolitan Housing Association who purchased the 10 newly-built three bed houses in a £11m 'off the shelf ' deal with local developer Osborne & Co and let to people in general housing need from Golden Gates Housings waiting list.

Mrs Fuller who moved into Houghton Street in June said: "We really love the house and the road.  We have an outdoor space at the back of the property here and because everyone in the road moved in around the same time, it really has created a community feel to the place.  We all watch out for each other and feel that the kids can play out safely.  It's really lovely."

The homes achieved a 'Very Good' rating from BREEAM, the international standard for assessing the environmental performance of buildings.
